first....some vocabulary.
Writer/Creator: The
Artist/Author/Producer/Screenwriter who is the originator of the media
which they own and are submitting for review.
Patron: The person, patron
of the arts, client, agent, publishing house, family or friend that
wishes to review the artist’s advertising media and requests an e-mail file
of the actual media for a slight contribution fee.
Advertising Media: The media
the artist uses to PITCH the actual media they want to distribute (Ex:
Treatment for a screenplay, query and/or synopsis.)
Actual Media: The media they
wish to distribute for support. (Ex: Novel, Novella, Short Story
Collection, Screenplay, Song.)
The
Perfect Scenario
- Writers: It is best for you to have
a PayPal
account, but no worries if you don’t.
- Writers: Although your work is
protected when you write, it is best to fill out a TX form and send
the government their fee (TX form fee: $45.00) if you feel
uncomfortable with your work being distributed to the public. Just fill out the appropriate forms
and send it in.
- Writers: Fill out our standard contract and mail it back to us via snail-mail. When we get
your contract we will e-mail you and instruct you to upload your files
to our web site.
- Patrons: Browse through the advertising
media and pick the actual media
you wish to support.($6.00 contribution-not tax deductible)
- Patrons: Pick the actual media you
want sent to your e-mail address, fill out the form, check the
non-disclosure agreement box, pay the fee and check your e-mail.
